This diverse background has shaped his approach to operations — blending strategic thinking with practical know-how. Known for his calm leadership style and systems-driven mindset, Samir thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and has consistently led high-performing teams across both Australia and Sri Lanka.

He joined MyLife Housing with a clear sense of purpose: to use his skills in process design, technology and team management to support a mission that truly matters. Having previously helped scale a tech startup and led early work in AI integration, Samir has always been interested in how innovation can make work — and life — better. At MyLife, the opportunity to contribute to something deeply human while solving complex operational challenges was the perfect next step.

As Senior Manager of Operations, Samir leads our Sri Lanka team and is responsible for compliance, process optimisation, and the day-to-day operational backbone that keeps MyLife moving. He’s focused on building smart, scalable systems that support our front-line teams and ultimately deliver the best possible outcomes for our tenants. Whether he’s improving workflows or mentoring staff, Samir brings care, clarity and an unwavering focus on impact to everything he does.
