With a legal background and a deep interest in governance, compliance and process design, Chizuru plays a pivotal role in keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes at MyLife Housing. She joined the team in 2024 and quickly became a steady hand across our operational systems - building internal structures, streamlining workflows, and helping ensure we stay aligned with the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Chizuru’s experience spans both early-stage start-ups and well-established legal practices, which gives her the unique ability to blend rigour with agility. She thrives in building things from the ground up, from onboarding systems and internal policies to tenancy management tools and compliance reporting. Her strategic thinking and calm, methodical approach have helped lay the groundwork for many of the internal processes that support our housing model today.

Outside of the day-to-day, Chizuru brings a sharp eye for risk and a passion for making systems work better for people - especially in the context of disability support. From backend systems to tenant outcomes, Chizuru is one of the key forces ensuring MyLife Housing stays thoughtful, compliant and resilient as we grow.
